Every crisis creates opportunity, every struggle offers the chance to rediscover.

Everything we do is born from the ability to see potential where others can’t.

ENACTUS, a non profitable organization was founded in 1975, in United States. It was merely a vision with a few people to provide a perfect foundation to their idea.Today, Enactus is spread out to 39 countries with more than 70,000 students associated with it.

Entrepreneurial: Having the perspective to see an opportunity and the talent to create value from that opportunity

Action: The willingness to do something and the commitment to see it through even when the outcome is not guaranteed

Us: A group of people who see themselves connected in some important way; individuals that are part of a greater whole.

Enactus strives to bring together the top leaders of today and tomorrow to harness the business talents of its network members to make a unique and valuable contribution to the world. And in this entire process it is ready to operate as a non-profit organization based on financial strength and staff leadership talent.

Enactus is a global organisation today and one of its divisions is Enactus, IIT Kanpur.

A bunch of students from IIT Kanpur stepped up to join this initiative. Letting the entrepreneurial spirits gain its dominance, Enactus IITK came up with two projects named "Agaaz and Pakvan"

Pakvan was brought forth as an initiative towards “food on wheels”. Pakvan aims at providing healthy and tasteful food made by trained hands of workers who lost their jobs after the privatization of student messes.

Pakvan hopes to start an outlet that serves regional delicacies on demand and deliver. It did run trial sessions in some halls of the college serving delicacies like dabeli and momos which drew huge appreciations.

Project Agaaz focuses on utilizing waste paper to empower the people in need. The ladies from the close by Nankari village are called on campus and the assigned team members teach them how to make various paper products like baskets, tissue paper, stand lampshades & jewellery. They also designed tiny bulbs in the cover of lampshades which were used for decoration in the campus festival Antaragni.
